The mutual interest in further artistic means of expression has led to the foundation of our ensemble in 1996.

Both, a strong curiosity and the wish to widen a certain and restrictive narrowness in the traditional arts are the impulse of our work. Its centre is the “New Improvised Music”, which is not composed in advance but developed spontaneously.

It is our opinion that improvised music is best in setting other arts to music, because it involves a maximum of musical development and spontaneity. We do not want extreme theoretical or philosophical performances, which can be appreciated only by a small number of specialists. Instead we want to offer both, a sensual and delightful access to the new language of modern arts.
